Who are FileFactory Data Packs useful for?

You can use FileFactory Data Packs to share more of your files with other people, so they can download at fast speeds directly, and without seeing advertisements (for example you have software, a file or a song you own and want to distribute to others).

What are the requirements for FileFactory Data Packs?

You need to be a current FileFactory Premium member in order to purchase or use a FileFactory Data Pack.

If your FileFactory Premium account expires, you will no longer be able to use the FileFactory Data Pack Subscription or FileFactory Volume Data Pack. However, any remaining TrafficShare bandwidth left in your FileFactory Volume Data Pack will become available again once you renew your FileFactory Premium subscription. The expiry date of your Volume Data Pack will not change.

What happens when my account runs out of TrafficShare download bandwidth?

Your downloads will return to the free advertising supported system, where download slots are not guaranteed.

If you run out of TrafficShare bandwidth you can purchase additional data at any time - it only takes a few minutes. Additional TrafficShare data will be added to your remaining quota.

Can I download files or distribute files with direct download links?

Yes you can. Simply switch on Direct Downloads in your account, and files can be downloaded directly from our servers, without having to visit a FileFactory download page.

Do my users see advertisements?

No they do not, if you serve files through our Direct Downloads system, or through FileFactory TrafficShare. Both these features need to be manually switched on in your account settings.

What if I know I will probably use a certain amount of TrafficShare data each month, but I want some backup bandwidth, just in case I go over my limit?

Then you should purchase a FileFactory Data Pack Subscription plan, as well as a FileFactory Volume Data Pack.

How do I use FileFactory Data Packs?

Once you have purchased a FileFactory Data Pack, the additional TrafficShare data is instantly added to your account.

As a FileFactory Premium member, you have 100GB of TrafficShare bandwidth you can use to share files each day included.

Once you purchase a FileFactory Data Pack, if your daily TrafficShare bandwidth limit is exceeded, we start to automatically use the available TrafficShare bandwidth from your FileFactory Data Pack.

Can I upgrade FileFactory Data Packs?

Yes you can. If purchasing an upgraded FileFactory Data Pack Subscription, your new increased download limit will take effect immediately and be added to your account.

If you purchase an additional FileFactory Volume Data Pack, the additional data is added to your account and any data packs which you may already have.

Can I downgrade FileFactory Data Pack Subscriptions?

No, it is not possible to downgrade a FileFactory Data Pack Subscription. However you can cancel your subscription and then purchase a lower priced plan.

How do I activate my FileFactory Data Pack?

Ad-free downloads and direct download links do not activate automatically by default.

If you want others to download your files at high speeds, and without advertisements, then you need to activate FileFactory TrafficShare in your account.

If you also want your users to download files directly (without having to load a FileFactory web page), then you also need to turn on Direct Downloads in your account.
